Rental Policies & Frequently Asked Questions
Rental Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be 21 years or older (25 for exotic vehicles)
- Must have a major credit card in your name.
- Must carry full coverage automotive insurance that is transferable to the rental vehicle.
Rental Period
One 24 hour period constitutes a rental day.
Required Items at Rental Pickup
At the time of rental, you must have with you a Driver's License, insurance card and a credit card which you reserved your rental with.
International Drivers
International drivers are welcome! We accept foreign driver's license from many countries. Renter's with foreign licenses must present your passport along with your driver's license. We can arrange for insurance coverage for international visitors.
Rental Authorizations
On the day of your rental pickup, your credit or debit card will be charged a rental authorization. Once the rental is complete, the authorization is released should there not be any incidental charges. Authorization usually take up to 2-5 business days to release. The authorization amount is dependent on the chosen vehicle.
Airport Pickup & Drop-off
We offer airport pickup and drop-off service to Midway, O'Hare and other Chicagoland airports. For our Phoenix / Scottsdale location, we offer airport pickup and drop-off at Phoenix Skyharbor airport or Scottsdale Airport. We can also arrange delivery to Tucson International Airport.
Cancellation Policy
Your rental fees are authorized at the time of reservation. A reservation must be cancelled at least 7 days prior to the original pick-up or delivery date in order not be charged 100% of the rental charges. However, if your plans change, you may use the reservation deposit towards a future rental.
Additional Drivers
Additional drivers are allowed, as long as they meet the same requirements as the primary renter. There is no charge for additional drivers.
Spring / Summer Weekend Rentals
During the peak season months, a minimum multi-day rental (2 or 3 days) may be required on rentals that begin from Friday to Sunday.
Late Charge
We do offer a 1-hour grace period. If you exceed by more than 1-hour, an hourly late charge will apply to each hour late. Maximum 3 hours permitted, after the 3rd hour an additional full day rate will be applied.
Vehicle Delivery
We can deliver the vehicle anywhere in the Chicago & Phoenix Metro areas for your convenience. Please contact us for more information.
Driving Area Restrictions
We do allow our vehicles to be driven outside the state you rented in,, however certain restrictions apply, and written approval is required. Please notify us if you plan on driving the vehicle outside Illinois or Arizona. We DO NOT allow any of our vehicles be driven outside of the USA.
Smoking Policy
For the pleasure of all future renters, we do not allow smoking in our vehicles. A cleaning charge may apply if this policy is violated.
Off-Roading
No matter which vehicle is rented, all renters must agree that they will not use the vehicle for off-roading, drive it on a racetrack or be involved in any illegal exhibitions of speed.
Payment Methods
We accepts the following methods of payment: Visa, Master Card, AMEX or Discover. In some cases, cashier's check or cash may be accepted if pre-arranged.
